This is the second time I ordered this product, the first time I ordered it about six months ago it was excatly the same as the Obagi toner I puchased from my doctor. This time the toner is really watery and a different color. It also has a different aroma and smells…comparably different from the Obagi I’m used to…disappointed.

I also order the the cleanser, which seems to be the same as the Obagi I’ve been using, both products arrived in the same box, however I was charged twice for shipping!

When it seems to good to be true, it probably is. Wonder why they are selling this product 1/4 the cost of the genuine product?? Because it is FAKE. Yes I hate paying the high cost for this product also, but the product works when you are buying the genuine product. Their packaging looks just like the original Obagi, and comes sealed, so the unsuspecting buyer is fooled into thinking they are getting a great deal. Well if you have ever used the genuine product you know right away this is not the real deal. The toner is thin and feels like colored water. I called Obagi’s home office and they confirmed the stock numbers on the bottom of the bottle of the Nu-Derm Toner are not product they have manufactured.
Obagi only sells their products through authorized distributors. All you need to do is call their office and ask if the retailer is a distributor. I can tell you in advance that there is not an authorized distributor to sell on line. All these products found on-line auctions and Amazon are Counterfeit; so unless you don’t mind throwing your money away, I would stay clear. I have contacted Amazon concerning this and hopefully they will look into this and remove these scammer sellers.Obagi by : NU-DERM TONER 6.7 OZ

I am of African decent and have naturally kinky hair. I used the Aphogee Two step deep conditioner along with this Keratin & Green Tea product before flat ironing my hair. I have flat ironed my hair before using products like Biosilk, etc. and nothing compared to the results I have gained using the Aphogee Keratin product along with the deep conditioner. My hair is bone straight and full of body. I recommend this product to everyone especially those with kinky hair that want to achieve a salon look at home.

I am in love with Aphogee Keratin and Green Tea Restructurizer. It has made all the difference in strengthening my hair and stopping breakage. I am of African American descent and a alot of the times I felt nervous about doing my own hair and would only make trips to the salon. With this product I don’t see hairs coming out in the comb, they actually stay on my head now. My hair needed the protein that this product offers and gives me the confidence to blow dry and style without any worries. Try it, you might make it a staple of yours like I did.

I started using this product 2 weeks ago, and, having very curly hair (usually, I flat-iron it) I woke this morning with the most bouncy, defined curls I’ve had in a long time! I spray my hair after I’ve washed it, and then let it air-dry overnight to avoid further damage by using BOTH the hair dryer AND the flat-iron.

Highly recommended!

I started using this product about a month ago. I moved to the UK and the hard water wreaked havoc on my skin and hair! My skin was totally dry, flaky, and was starting to look damaged. My skin is usually oily and its never been this dry before; even the oily parts of my face had a dull, dry layer. I really wanted to cry some days because i was so ashamed and embarrassed of my skin. My make up wouldn’t go on correctly…
I digress.
I had tried everything from olive oil to expensive, high end “barrier repairs” when I happened on this serum. I figured, “Why not?” I cannot tell you how pleased I am. I feel like my skin has reinvented itself! This product is like little, silky, sweet-smelling drops of heaven for your face.

Lovely serum, but no long last results for me, March 17, 2012

This is such a lovely serum. I say that for a few reasons:

1. The scent is heavenly, a soothing lavender which is really nice at bedtime.
2. The oil is not too heavy, it’s just the right consistency.
3. The cap of the bottle is also a “dropper” inside. It makes it so easy to apply. But be careful! It’s fragile and I broke mine
4. You will wake up in the morning with pleasant, smooth skin.

HOWEVER,
As much as I wanted to, I did not notice any long term results. This is great if you want to wake up in the morning with nice smooth skin, but in my experience it’s nothing permanent.
In addition, as another reviewer stated if you require something that moisturizes you will need an additional product, because this will not.

Summation:
It’s still a good product, especially if you want to wake up looking nice in the morning for your husband or houseguests, lol. The scent is nice and the bottle will last a long time.

i am 46-years-old so i NEED a restorative eye cream. i have tried so many. my eye area is very sensitive and i can’t use anything with retinal. i saw this serum advertised on the nate berkus show and thought, “why not. i’ve tried everything else”. a week later…i feel COMPELLED to write a review. it is so wonderful. it is creamy, wonderfully scented…but most of all…i wake up looking refreshed. this hasn’t happened since my last child was born. in addition, it is so gentle…but yet so powerful. my eyes aren’t red and flaky which is what i usually deal with when using powerful eye creams. i would highly recommend this product. and believe me….i rarely take the time to recommend anything. especially when i am running late for work…like now.

After becoming pregnant, I have been plagued with acne even worse than the acne I faced when 15 years old. I was even more frustrated when I found out that there is potential danger to the baby when the mother uses products containing salicylic acid or retinol in them (of course, every face product that works for me contains either or both of these ingredients). I was very happy to come across this product as it is marketed specifically to be safe for pregnant women. However, and I didn’t think it possible, but it made my already horrible acne even worse. I have been using it for 2 weeks in hopes that it just needed time, but I am giving up on it now that my face is covered with acne. It has a nice smell and I am happy that there is a company releasing products like this, but it just didn’t work for me. It is still worth a try, and I hope that I am in the minority with this product not working.

I want to be clear that just because this product didn’t work for me does not mean it won’t work for everyone. Acne is different from person to person, so treatments will often work well for one person but not at all for another.

I didn’t just get acne when I was pregnant. I have struggled with it since I was a teenager, and the only thing that really clears it up are birth control pills and Retin-A, both of which women cannot take during pregnancy. My skin went haywire when I stopped using them when I was trying to conceive, and when I got pregnant it was even worse. I wanted to avoid medications while pregnant, and that included acne medicines, such as benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid, so I really appreciate Belli for making products safe for pregnant women (which is why I give it two stars instead of one).

However, after using the Belli Acne Clearing Facial Wash for about three weeks, my acne was just getting worse — worse than it ever has been in my life. I was just miserable. I broke down and asked my obstetrician if it was all right to use over the counter acne medicine, and she gave me the go ahead. I’m using products with salicylic acid, which she says is safe in over-the-counter concentration, and the acne is finally improving. (You should ask your doctor before doing using any medications.) My skin is improving now, but I must admit I still have that pregnant-lady paranoia about using these products. I wish the Belli products did work for me! I’d get two kinds of peace of mind — from clear skin and from knowing my baby is completely safe.

I have struggled with acne ironically, since the beginning of my 20s. I finally went to a dermetologist and was put on RX facial wash. My face was clear for the first time since my teens! Then we decided to start trying for a baby. I came off of the RX as they are not safe while pregnant and my acne returned. After I got pregnant, my acne became worse. I tried just washing with regular facial soap with no change. I read about this product in my OB office and decided to give it a try as it is the only one that I have found to be safe for pregnant women. I tried it and it made my acne worse. I thought that maybe it would get worse before it got better and went through 2 tubes. It just continued to get worse so I quit buying it and went back to washing with regular facial soap.
This product did not work for me, but it may for you. It seems like based on the other reviews that I have seen that women who had already had problems with acne before pregnancy seem to have a less favorable reaction to this product. So if you had clear skin before pregnancy, you may want to try it.

This product is a must have for anyone who is wearing their hair natural and wants it to be satiny soft, moisturized without a greasy feeling, have a healthy sheen, and in need of a REAL all natural hair product with no chemicals. It smells fresh and clean. It is very creamy and emollient. When I received it I put about a nickels size amount on my hair and wrapped it in a silk scarf, slept in it over night and rinsed it out in the morning, followed by a conditioner wash in the shower. I did this because my hair is so dry. After I towel dried my hair I rubbed a pea size amount in my hands and applied it all over my damp hair and followed it with a very tiny amount of kinky curly gel (that product has to be used very sparingly)

The difference is absolutely amazing! My hair is so satin soft and the curls are beautiful! I have been wearing my hair natural off and on since the 80s, and I have tried just about every major hair product marketed for black women who want to wear their hair “natural.” Many years ago I used to relax my curls a bit for 3 minutes with a relaxer. Then about 4 years ago I quit doing that because it is unnecessary and not healthy! I used to have what is called 3c-4a type hair. But the gray in the front and age (hormones lol) has given me more kinky type curls. I have mastered the wash (condition)and go hairdo and most of my girlfriends, who admired my hair for over 30 years have FINALLY gone natural too.

The problem was most of the products on the market are either too heavy, sticky, drying, or make hair look and feel like a brillo pad! I want gorgeous curls and a healthy sheen and Tukka gave me that with a satin soft and non greasy feel when I touch my hair.

This product is a MUST HAVE and I thank the person who created it and hope many other women will give it a try!

OK, First of all, WHY is this product so expensive? I think the price has been reduced because its not selling well or something. Anyway, its nothing special, and had no super awesome results on my hair. I found it to be quite greasy and made my hair stiff. I may have used too much, don’t really know, but I paid WAY too much for this not have better results! I’ll try it again just to be sure, but once I find the results are not up to my standards, the product has got ta go! I’m disappointed! (and out of 39 dollars!)

This product is just alright. I’m not sure that it has any significant benefits for my hair — at least compared to other cheaper deep conditioner products. (I’m an African American woman with natural hair). A positive is It smells good. Its consistency is a little lighter than the Cholesterol deep hair conditioner. I’m not sure it’s worth the cost, and I definitely wouldn’t but it again.

Great Deep Conditioner for 4a hair, September 9, 2010

I am transitioning from relaxed to natural curly hair and I don’t think I could have done it without this conditioner. It has helped make my hair very soft and manageable. It also helped reduce the breakage I was suffering. I did notice it is much more effective when used with heat – I use a heat cap and condition for about 15 min – my hair was pretty damaged. I use it along with the Black Vanilla shampoo. I wish some of Carol’s Daughter’s other products shared the fragrance. Jada’s duo smelled awful to me- especially the balm, Maybe I had a bad batch. I’m still on the look out for finishing products to hold curl and add sheen but my conditioner is covered. In comparison- The Tui smoothie is not as rich/heavy as this conditioner, also smells good but even sweeter. I have not tried the Koret Amen yet, but my brother said it smelled like garlic bread to him. More like ocean waves to me. I’ll be sure to take a poll once I use it and place a review for it, I am waiting for a weekend just incase my brother is right. I can just have Italian that night if he is, no one will know it’s my hair conditioner and not the garlic bread that smells so delish.

I have dreads and it makes them softer and lighter.

- The name of this product has been changed to Duracell Rechargeables StayCharged AA Batteries. As far as I can tell, those are the same batteries previously marketed as ‘Pre-Charged’. In other parts of the world, those are also marketed as ‘Active Charge’. They are stlll available in either ‘white top’ (made in Japan) and ‘black top’ (made in China) versions.

- Amazon has combined the AA and AAA versions of those Duracell batteries into the same product page. So now I look like a fool who says the same things twice. Oh well…

I was only half-right when I boldly proclaimed that “Duracell Pre Charged AA are rebranded Sanyo eneloop cells” in my original review. It turns out that the first batch of Duracell AA cells I bought from Amazon are made in Japan, and those are identical to eneloop (both mechanically and electrically). But lately I bought some more Duracell AA from a warehouse club. Those are made in China, and they are identical to the Rayovac Hybrid.

Judging from similarity of technical specifications and physical shapes of (+) and (-) terminals, I am convinced that the Duracell Pre Charged AA is actually SANYO eneloop AA underneath a different wrapper. Therefore all the good things you heard about eneloop apply to Duracell ‘Pre Charged’, too.

My own testing has shown that the capacity of eneloop AA cell is slightly above the claimed 2000mAh, and it is able to retain at least 85% of its charge after 5 months in storage. The Rayovac Hybrid AA starts with slightly higher capacity at 2100mAh, but it ‘only’ retains 80% capacity after 5 months. For all practical applications, both are equally good. Just pick whichever brand (Sanyo, Rayovac, or Duracell) is on-sale, and you can’t go wrong.

One small problem with the Duracell ‘Pre Charged’ cell is that: it looked too similar to the well-known ‘Copper Top’ alkaline cell. So there is a good chance that people may mistaken it for a disposable cell. Personally, I prefer the distinctive-looking white case of the eneloop cell.

- The name of this product has been changed to Duracell Rechargeables StayCharged AAA Batteries. As far as I can tell, those are the same batteries previously marketed as ‘Pre-Charged’. In other parts of the world, those are also marketed as ‘Active Charge’. They are stlll available in either ‘white top’ (made in Japan) and ‘black top’ (made in China) versions.

- Amazon has combined the AA and AAA versions of those Duracell batteries into the same product page. So now I look like a fool who says the same things twice. Oh well…

I was only half-right when I boldly proclaimed that “Duracell Pre Charged AAA are rebranded Sanyo eneloop cells” in my original review. It turns out that the first batch of Duracell AAA cells I bought from Amazon are made in Japan, and those are identical to eneloop (both mechanically and electrically). Pros:
-For a rechargeable battery, these batteries does not need to be charged before you use it for the first time; right from the packaging into your gadgets.
-They last a long time.
-Does not need special charger. You can use your existing NiMh charger.

Cons:
-You can confuse them with regular Duracells and mistakenly thrown away after losing charge.
-This later technology is still expensive.

I also like Eneloops by Sanyo. But they are not easily available at your local stores.

My indoor long-haired Siberian cat developed a bad shedding problem a few months ago, with very dull coat and hairballs. I had been feeding him a couple of very high-end all natural foods, but decided to give this indoor beauty formula a try. Wow – what a difference! The shedding is gone, has hairballs very rarely, and his coat! Gorgeous rich color and shine, silky soft feel. Even my vet was stunned when I took him in recently, wanted to know what I was feeding him. His weight and body condition are perfect, too. I’m so glad Amazon carries this, as I can only get smaller bags at the local pet store. It’s not cheap, but it is worth it.

My cats (Persian, Exotic Shorthair and Domestic) all love the Royal Canin Foods (dry). We use the “Indoor Beauty” the “Persian” formula, and sometimes the Hairball formula.

Also they have “Babycat” kibble for weaning Royal Canin Dry Cat Food, Babycat 34 Formula, 3.5-Pound Bag – tiny little ‘crunchies’ that are even smaller than the “Kitten Food”. We adopted a 7-week-old kitten still getting replacement milk and I put a small bowl down just so she could get familiar with the smell of it. I planned to add water to it when we made the transition from replacement milk to canned food (perhaps) and then moistened Royal Canin Babycat. But within a few days she began eating it as is, without the water added. I was delighted that she took to it so quickly so that’s in my shopping cart now.

I gave it only 4 stars because there are a few new brands that have a higher “meat” content & less fillers, but my cats wouldn’t eat any of them before or after I started them on Royal Canin. This one works for us.

Amazon gets 5 stars for offering these foods at a reasonable price with free speedy delivery, allowing me to save both time and money. Good Deal!

I love to play around with red tones–brighter, coppery ones for spring and summer, then a darker, burgundy one for fall and winter. Normally my hair takes very well to color, but sometimes it needs an extra oomph in the conditioning department. This product by Neutrogena is one of the best conditioning agents I have ever used to sooth dried out, tired strands.

The directions on the jar caution you to use a small amount, and they are very right. I have short hair–doesn’t even touch my collar–so a dime sized amount was great. If you have shoulder length or longer, you might want to use a tad more. Shampoo as usual then forgoe your normal strength conditioner for this rich, creamy mixture instead. Leave in three minutes, rinse and style. After blow drying at a medium heat setting, my hair looked as if it had undergone the star treatment! Bouncy, and vibrant, it really seemed to help the color stand out too. If you have lots of texture in your hair, follow up with a light pomade and voila!

Price-wise, it’s very much worth it. The jar is 6 oz. size, about four to four and a half inches tall. Since you need so little of it for each use, I anticipate this lasting me for at least four to six months. After all, it’s not necessarily one you’ll need to use everyday, just when you want to give your hair a little bit of heaven.

This is by far one of THE BEST PRODUCT HAIR LINES!!!!…My hair type is 4a 4b which is very coarse texture…When I Deep Conditon with NTM Deep Recovery Hair Mask my hair feels like silk!…I have VERY thick mid back length hair so I use way more than a dime size amount…I start with my ends first and work my way through my hair…When I rinse it out OMG…The slip is amazing!!!…My hair practically detangles itself with this product!….I don’t blow dry with a hand held dryer b/c my hair is healthier without heat….Plus, Using these products I really don’t have to!:)…..I buy the whole line in bulk so that I never run out!

I’ve always loved Neutrogena products and when I’m in the States, I stock up on this and some shampoos because you can’t get these here in slow Australia. This is one of the best hair treatments I’ve ever used and I love how soft and silky my hair is afterwards.
I straighten my hair every 2-3 days which can be highly damaging, yet with this, you couldn’t tell. It’s great for putting moisture back in, and for dull looking hair and split ends. You have to be careful not to use too much or it can feel a little heavy and ‘greasy’ otherwise, but with the right amount (you have to play around to get your own right amount based on hair length), it feels great and leaves your hair smelling gorgeous. It’s easy to use and I use it religiously once a week on Fridays and you could never tell that I don’t go to the hairdresser as often as I should or that I straighten it too much.
I cannot rate this highly enough and hope that you’ll give it a go. You certainly don’t have to use super expensive items, and this is great value and does a wonderful job. I love it.

What a crazy ride this book was!

From the moment I started reading “Beauty” I could relate to this story. I think most females will relate to these characters. All of us have been desperate at one point in our lives.

Ginger and Jade are two best friends who are struggling financially and will do just about anything to get some money. They want to get cosmetic surgery so they can attract men, but they don’t have the cash needed. Jade comes up with a crazy plan to raise the money, but it’s not exactly legal. Meanwhile, Ginger and Jade have both met guys who aren’t who they claim to be.

Overall this was a very quick and light read. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a good pick-me-up and who wants to forget the worries and troubles of everyday life.

This book is hilarious and fun! I am hooked on these characters! This is truly one of the funniest books I’ve ever read. Highly recommended.

When I first started reading Beauty to the Tenth Power! by Mary Hahn, I had a hard time getting into it. I thought it would be just like every other novel written about two female friends and that I would be able to guess the ending and know how everything would turn out. I couldn’t have been more wrong!!!

Going into the story you meet Ginger, your somewhat typical medical student trying to deal with the stress of med school, a part time job, money worries and of course, men. Ginger’s best friend, Jade, is Ginger’s polar opposite. Jade is wild and care-free, a cosmetologist and uses men left and right to get whatever she wants.

Ginger is like a lot of girls, she just wants to be liked, which ends up getting her in quite a bit of trouble and putting her on the path to ruin her life. With some help from some very interesting characters she manages to make some horrible decisions. You meet Steve and his twin brother Sam who are both gorgeous and enticing and better yet, they BOTH want Ginger.

The story takes so many twists and turns, some expected but more unexpected. Like I said from the beginning, I thought I would be able to figure out how it all would unfold but I was very very wrong. The ending surprised me and I ended up not being able to put the book down once I got about 1/4 of the way through because I HAD to know how it was going to end.

The book could use one more round of editing to clean up a few minor typos but the story was great! I would definitely read more from Mary Hahn.
